ICIMAR

The Institute for the Culture of the Sea - ICIMAR - was created with the intent of promoting awareness and the studies of problems facing the sea - scientific, cultural and social aspects.  Through the publication of books and magazines, along with the organization of conventions and professional courses, the Institute aims to point public opinion towards a model of socioeconomic development sustainable for both the territory and the person. The goals of ICIMAR encounter and reinforce the mission that the Protected Marine Area has followed since its inception.  

SERVICES PROVIDED: Library and Archaeological Museum, information point for the Tavolara - Punta Coda Cavallo Protected Marine Area.
